Subject: Iron Eagle
I have the original soundtrack to Iron Eagle, however, there are a few songs that are in the movie that are not on the soundtrack. I was hoping you might be able to assist me in locating these songs. The first is "Eyes of the World" by Eric Martin and the second is "Old enough to rock and roll" by Rainey Haynes. I have looked for the performer of each song and can not even find them. Anything will be helpful.
Thank you,
Clint

Not sure on the Rainey Haynes tune, but here's the full scoop on "Eyes of the World" by Eric Martin: The song is off his 1985 solo album, simply titled "Eric Martin". It came out on the Capitol label here in the U.S. (Capitol 12424, to be exact). The album also features his minor pop hit from the Summer of '85, "Information". ("Eyes of the World" was not a hit, although it could very well have been the follow-up single to "Information".) Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print, and has never been re-issued on CD here in the U.S. I have the cassette myself. Good stuff...
Of course, Martin would later go on to join as lead singer of the rock group Mr. Big in the late '80s, which scored the huge #1 hit "To Be With You" here in the U.S. in the Winter of '92...
