Contrary to your statement above, Bananarama's minor hit from the Fall of '84, "The Wild Life", can be found on second pressings of their 1984 album, simply titled "Bananarama". When this album was first released on vinyl LP and cassette by London/PolyGram here in the U.S. in May of '84, w/ the catalog no. "820 036", "The Wild Life" had yet to be recorded, and thus was NOT included on the album. However, five months later, in October of '84, when "The Wild Life" was released as a single, London/PolyGram went back and re-issued the album here in the U.S. on both vinyl LP and cassette w/ the catalog no. "820 165". It's these later pressings that feature "The Wild Life"...

You assumed and did so incorrectly. You know what they say about assuming...
I was speaking in my own personal terms of acquiring the song, not worldwide availability in general. I'll try to be more specific next time to avoid unnecessary responses.

Whoa - someone spike your coffee this Independence Day, Hairspray??? Nothing was assumed based on what you now claim was the poor English you used (i.e., "the song an actual hit, but found nowhere"), and I'm sure at least one or two others on this message board found what I said above to be interesting and/or of some use, so I make no apologies for responding to your post. God Bless America!
