No clue of the HB videos, but if you can get M2 it's much closer to what MTV was than MTV is anymore. Much Music from Canada is also a good alternative, and they do have a heavy metal program on the weekend; I don't recall the name or time right now, but it is there. Both M2 and Much Music are available on DirecTV, which is how I see them.

The Muchmusic show you're talking about is called "Loud," and it comes on Saturday nights at either 11 pm ET or 12 am ET.
