Subject: who sings "Turn the Radio Up"
HI- Do you guys know who sings the song, "Turn the Radio Up"? At least that's what I think it's called. Here are some lyrics: Turn the radio up for that sweet sound Hold me close never let me go Keep this feeling alive, make me lose control Baby baby When I look in your eyes I go crazy Fever's high with the lights down low Take me over the edge make me lose control It was kind of a cheesy song, but my sisters and I loved it and I can't find any info on it anywhere! Thanks for your help.

You have the wrong title. Your "mystery song" is actually called "Make Me Lose Control", and was a big top 5 hit here in the U.S. in the Summer of '88 by Eric Carmen. The song originally appeared on second pressings of his 1988 hits collection, titled "The Best of Eric Carmen". (Released on the Arista label, these feature the catalog no. "8548". Original pressings w/ the catalog no. "8547" do NOT include "Make Me Lose Control", so be careful!) Unfortunately, "The Best of..." is now long out-of-print in all formats here in the U.S., although it was issued on CD. However, "Make Me Lose Control" is also included on 1997's "The Definitive Collection", which is still available today. You probably remember Carmen best for his huge 1976 hit, "All By Myself", as well as his other 1988 hit, "Hungry Eyes", from the movie "Dirty Dancing". "The Definitive Collection" also includes his hits as lead singer of the '70s band, the Raspberries...

My favorite hit song by him was a song you didnt include, "Never Gonna Fall in Love Again", I rememeber him singing that on American Bandstand when I was a kid. I also liked I Wanna Hear it From Your Lips...
