Subject: This song exists... I swear!!

Written By: Paul Harris on 6/12/2000 at 5:42 p.m.

I'm running into a dead end wall when trying to ID this song/artist...

I swear it existed, the only thing I can recall about it for sure is the title:

"Don't Mess With My Tutu" Had to be around 1984-5.. I"m not having any luck finding anyone else who remembers it, or knows who did it....

Help?

Top 5 hit in the mid 80's over in England - "My Toot Toot" by Denise Lasalle. Never made it on the US charts.

I know it was done by Jean Knight (of "Mr. Big Stuff" fame) and that is the version I remember most. There were other versions of the song out about that time. I can't tell you who else did it because they are too numerous to mention.

You're probably remembering the Denise Lasalle version, but I can remember a zydecho version by Rockin' Sydney as well. Real Audio link below.
