Subject: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?

Ok, I do not agree with the bands you posted that sounded like 80's bands. You basically put every band there is in the nineties! Garbage, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Nirvana, etc. etc., THEY DO NOT SOUND LIKE THEY ARE FROM THE 80'S!!!! Sarah

you should try and actually read what is next to each band's description, then maybe you would understand I mention one song from Nirvana, the lyrics in the new Garbage album, and the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys I'm afraid do sound like late 80s pop bands like New Kids on the Block... and comparing them to the 80s bands isn't a put down in our opinion

I don't think comparing 90's bands to 80's bands are a putdown. I do agree that the Spice Girls sound similar to many girl groups of the 80's, Banarama or the Go Go's for example. All music styles evolved from the past.

Face it most bands of the 90s can't even come up with anything orginal to sing in the first place so why should their music style be original. As for the backstreet boys, did you know Maurice Starr (NKOTB's old manager) also does the b-boys and n-sync? He even said he looks for the same type of boys to put in his group. How's that for orginality.
