Subject: Room Decoration
I would like to decorate a entire room in an eighties fasion, with trends that were big in the eighties and also how a "trendy" room would look like in the eighties. If you could give me a bunch of ideas, I would love it.

I always liked on Miami Vice when they would be in an apartment, and it had recessed neon lighting in different colors.

Well....I remember my room in the '80s had posters of unicorns all over the place...they were especially popular then. Uh, I had one of those padded message boards hanging up where i would pin up various things and i always had a feather roach clip hanging from the corner. Posters of course....my room (after i took down most of the unicorns) was pretty much wallpapered in Duran Duran photos. You could also put one of those stupid neon flashing phones in there. Maybe get some of those latch-hook rugs (they may have been popular in the '70s too, i'm not sure...but i know i made a bunch of em when i was younger). The only other thing i can think of is if you have any pennants or anything like that from events with '80s dates on them.
