Subject: near impossible music video question
I remember a music video of a song I liked.
The singer (male) was locked in or had to climb
up some chain link fence type thing and there was
a couch or something at the top.
A friend remembers it also and said it was Rick
Springfield but remembers nothing else. We are
talking 81-84 most likely, and definitely
NOT mid 85 or after. Most likely dates are 83 or 84.
Anyone got any Ideas? (hey I said near impossible)
Good memories. When MUSIC Television ACTUALLY PLAYED
MUSIC. (and so did USA Network- remember Nightflight?,
a lot of local TV stations....) I dont watch MTV much
any more but if they would repeat days from the 80s
verbatim (including JJ Jackson and Martha Quinn)I would.

Hey there,
This sounds a lot like Billy Idol's, "Dancin with myself" he was at the top of a building in between power poles and zombie like things were climbing the building walls to get to him.
Thats what I thought of from your description.

Im a billy Idol Fan. I have even captured this video and have it on tape. It is definitely NOT
Dancing With Myself. I THINK the singer was darker haired. The walls
the singer was climbing were more like at a 45 degree angle rather than straight up.
