Subject: stuck on song title -taylor dayne

I'm stuck on a song title by taylor dayne, the woman singer. I'm pretty sure the date is 1989, but it is definitely late 1980s. If this helps, the song was sung live at MTV's Spring Break in 1990, and they are running a show about the history of spring break at MTV. It is a very soulful song, and it goes pretty high octave wise. Here are some lyrics : "All that I need tell me well I think everything's alright THINK everythings all reye ee eye eet (phonetically) na na na na na..." The show on MTV runs through the artists that have been there in the past and shows her singing that song in full audio.

the song title is "I'll Be Your Shelter". It was on the charts in early 1990, and hit number 1 for 1 week.
