Subject: a song in my head

Written By: Grace M. Cunningham on 3/23/1999 at 11:44 a.m.

I have recently had one line of a song playing in my head, I desperatly want to know who sings it. The line I hear is a male voice singing "Stay with me" but I have no idea where it came from. Please Help!

The only thing I'm thinking of is a '70s song, Rod Stewart's "Stay With Me", but I don't think that's the one you're looking for. Shakespeare's Sister's "Stay" also comes to mind, but (a.) the "stay with me" part is sung by a woman (Marcella Detroit) and (b.) it's an early '90s song. Whoops. Sorry.

'Tis all I can offer.

It could be "Hold Me Now." Was that the Thompson Twins or someone else? Sorry, it's very early in the morning here in Sydney...

Yeah. It was the Thompson Twins. Of course. Silly me.
