Glad that you've asked about one of the greatest (though sadly underrated) bands ever.
Anyway . . .
They broke up . . . but now they're back.
In 1990, they released "Red Moon" and broke up shortly thereafter. In 1994 Michael Been released a solo album, "On the Verge of a Nervous Breakthrough" which is quite good. In fact, the musicians on the album are all of The Call, except one member.
They got back together in the late 90s and released "Heaven and Back" on Fingerprint records in 1997.
As far as I know, they are still together now.
