Subject: Have lyrics, need name of song and singer

Written By: Debbi Sullivan on 2/22/1999 at 9:35 a.m.

There is a song from the Eighties I always liked, and I remember part of the lyrics, but can't recall the name or singer. The lyrics I recall are:

"Your a slim chance in tight pants, A white line to an exit sign"

I heard it recently on a satellite 80's music channel, and of course they don't tell you the names of the songs. I want to try to get it on a CD.

If anyone remembers either the name or the singer that would be very helpful.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that song is "Don't Shed A Tear" by Paul Carrack (formerly of Squeeze).

It could also be another song by Paul Carrack called "One Good Reason".
