Are there any other fans here who like Level 42? This band out of Manchester, England did some great stuff in the 1980's including.....
"Something About You"
"Lessons In Love"
"Leaving Me Now" (my favorite!)

I like them too. Does anyone know what happened to them?
I would also like to add that another great 80's band came out of Manchester too - Simply Red.

Yep. I remember when the album "World Machine" came out...that was the first time I had heard of them. I bought the cassette & listened to it over & over. I never got around to buying anything else of theirs until the "Level Best" CD though.

Level 42 were a great band. Mark King still gets around a bit as this website suggests:

'Livin' it up (when the sun goes down)'
'Something about you'
'Lessons in Love'
'Running in the family'

Oh ya.... Level 42 was great! I always liked the sound of their music and the lead singers voice. They are still kickin' around. They will be performing in Holland with Simple Minds (another great band) in May.
