Subject: need help with a song

need help with a rap song from mid to late 80s. i only have the last minute and a half or so but it has an upbeat tempo, then says something like "now lets slow down the beat" then goes into a slow flow bass heavy 'very beastie boys sounding' beat with rapping and a small guitar riff kinda like 'slow and low'. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Goin' by your info, the only thing I can think of is "L.L. Cool J - Rock The Bells" from 1985, or "L.L. Cool J - I Need A Beat" (also from 1985).
