Subject: What was on Nickelodeon late night? (Before N@N)

What did Nickelodeon aired during prime time/dusk before Nick At Nite went on air in 1985? Since Nickelodeon first appeared in 1979.
I'm just curious.

in 1979 when it was known as "Pinwheel" it wasnt a network just for kids.
but in 1981 when they changed the name to 'Nickelodeon' it became the "First Channel for Kids"
the programing was very wide ranged from old cartoons, foreign kids shows, to classic tv shows.
Im pretty sure that durring prime time and through the night was when they showed the classic TV shows, Charlie Chaplin shorts, and various old film shorts. but it wasnt specifically called anything untill 1985.
and then of course "TVLand" spun off from Nick-at-Nite. hehe.
at least from what I remember, hehe.

Only if Nickelodeon was what is used to be. Up til the mid '90's before it went downhill like MTV, which I know was mostly music videos 24/7. :-/

Pete and Pete was one of my all time favorites. Not 80's, but still good.

From what I remember watching at my relatives' house in 1985, Nickelodeon and A&E were on the same channel! It was Nickelodeon by day (until sometime in the evening), and A&E by night!
