Anyone know where I can get the instrumental HBO theme song from like 1983? It's the one where there's the platinum logo floating in space, & the camera slowly moves in close on it. ???

If you find that let me know, I used to LOVE that theme song..id get all excited when it came on, kinda made you tingle..LOL!!!!!!!!!! course it coulda been because it came on right before Fraggle rock ;)

Thanks Lanie! I was able to download it alright...& listen to it with RealPlayer. :D I can't believe ya found it! :o :D

I remember that logo from when I was 2, I used to get so excitied when it came on, and I hated it when they didn't show it.

I love that theme as well as the miniture city they had in that promo. I once saw the "making of" that. It was really cool how they had a small camera going through that miniture street. The music just added to it.

I remember this from about 85-86. I think I used to see it for a little while after that. I used to get the music stuck in my head anytime I saw it. Weird, that was ages ago. Makes me feel kind of old. :o

I remember that too. It was so high tech. And it was also they way they did alot of scenes in future movies, ie. Independence Day.
