Subject: LITTLE PEOPLE!
I'm pretty sure they were around before the 80's, but my favorite toy had to be the Fisher Price little people. I had the plane, the garage, and the farm. How awesome were they? I just looked them up on ebay and it was like a flood of memories...try it!

I had the Airport, the Garage and a Castle. The castle had a horse that for some reason is the only piece I still have.

I think they came out in the 60's. I was born in '69 and I had my sister's hand-me-downs. They were made of wood and were painted (probably with lead-based paint, LOL!!).
I had the farm that moo'ed when the door was opened, the school house with the chalkboard on the inside, the house with the working garage door and doorbell.
The only figure that I can remember clearly is the black and white dog.
Do you remember Weebles Wobbles?
Subject: Re: LITTLE PEOPLE!
I remember weebles. I had a few.
What about "Littles"? They were little dolls that came with metal furniture and a dollhouse. All sold seperatly.

I associate Fisher Price little people with the '60s and '70s. We had a house, a parking garage, a boat, and an airplane. I can't remember what else.
Now those little people are comically wide so the little people who play with them can't swallow the pieces. I dunno, I did a lot of things with Fisher Price toys, but I never tried to eat 'em!

I remember those from when I was a kid. In fact, I have the dog on my desk right now, right next to Gumby! I found a website awhile back that has about every Little People figure ever made. You can buy, sell, etc.
