Hello,
I have been trying to find out about a public service announcement TV commercial from the early 80s from the National Poison Control Center. The commercial features I think 3 pills singing some song. Don't know much else, but I would love to find out a lot more! Please help!

"We're Not Candy" ads - cartoon singing prescription pills teach us that pills aren't candy. They sang "This is serious. We could make you delirious...We're not candy, even though we look so fine and dandy. When you're sick, we come in handy. But we're not candy!"

Thanks so much for finding those lyrics...now for the harder question -- does a video of the commercial exist out there? I would love to see it again! It used to scare me when I was younger. I remember it would always show in the early morning hours, around 5 or 6 AM, when I would get up to watch Fat Albert!

I saw that commercial on I Luv the 80's Strikes Back!
It reminds me of another commercial that used to be my favorite as a kid - remember Mr Yuk with the ugly green face who had his tongue sticking out? That was also designed to teach kids to stay away from poisonous household items. I wish they would show that as one of TV Land's retromercials.
