Subject: Greatest Irish Bands

Hello~ Who is your favorite Irish Band in 80s?  :o
:D I heard there is a new CD ‘Greatest Irish Bands’. By working at universal I heard the CD has music from Celtic Pop (The Corrs) to Punk (Stiff Litte Fingers) and a bonus DVD ‘Slighting of Bono’. I just got the CD and it great. Check it out.

Not that anyone has really mentioned them yet but forget U2 - they are way overrated in my opinion.

I would say the greatest Irish band were the Undertones - now they really were great.

U2 is the band that all Irish bands want to be like when they grow up!  I liked them before they were huge and they still "get it" today!  LEGENDS!!!   ;D

If that bonus DVD had the music videos of those songs (or at least some of them) I would definetly get it.

Dexy was Irish?  Never knew that.  I always assumed they were English.
