Subject: 80's Braided Barrettes

Anybody out there remember these? There were made with 2 different colored strands of ribbon braided together on a metal barrette. Well I started making them last year and now sell them. Anyway to start the 80's over again, I'll do my part! (if interested in purchasing them, just email me with your 2 color selections!) The cheerleaders love them and girls of all ages!!! I really want the black pants under the long or short skirts to come back. I miss the 80's soooo much!!!

I do remember those!! Also at the end of the barrett the different color ribbons hung down to fall in the hair. And you're right, cheerleaders do like them and goes well school colors.

It's amazing how the kids love them. My daughter is 11, so her friends all want them! I just wish the designers out there would bring the 80's back. We brought the 70's and 60's back...I think it's "our" turn now!

I remember those,too. I used to wear them as well. I came across this auction for a book that shows you how to make them. ;D

Maybe if you can't do a website, you could sell them on ebay like that person did.
