Subject: Anyone remember DC Follies

Written By: eightiesfan on 02/18/04 at 07:26 a.m.

In the mid to late 80's there was a puppet show in syndication called DC Follies - Sid and Marty Krofft were the creators of it. As I remember it, it showed puppet caricatures of popular celebrities and politicians of that time fraternizing in a bar (I know Cher was one of the celeb puppets).

It came into my mind last night when I was watching the Krofft marathon on TV Land.

I remember it but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to watch it much. I think it should be updated and brought back to TV. Georgey Pordgey alone would fill the writers books with endless ideas.
