Subject: Rabbi Meir Kahane "Saving the Day" - From the Net
No, I didn't write this but it goes like this
"Every time I see the 1984 movie GHOSTBUSTERS, the scene where the Mayor of NYC says "We have work to do what do you need from me" and the National Guard appears and the Ghostbusters car rolls towards the Apartment building and the Religious Jews are Praying, it reminds me of Rabbi Meir Kahane(1932-1990) The Song "Saving the Day" is playing, 1984 was also the Year Rabbi Meir Kahane and his KACH movement was elected to Israeli Knesset(Parliament) Kahane also tried to "Save the Day" from Israel's mortal enemies"
And at the end of the Movie (After Stay Puft is destroyed) and the Ghostbusters car is preparing to leave the Area, and the Ghostbusters song is playing, and the Religious Jews standing and clapping as the Ghostbusters car leaves the Area, it reminds me of supporters cheering Kahane on at a KACH rally', Both Rabbi Meir Kahane and the movie Ghostbusters were vital parts of NYC history.
Kahane-Ghostbusters 1984 A coincidence?

The more bizarre the better I say!
I think it may very well just be a coincidence. Of course Harold Ramis, as one of the writers, may have decided to add it as some kind of homage to the JDL.
Never thought about it before.
