Subject: Early 80's tv show about an ape in the White House

Written By: Steve_B. on 02/11/04 at 07:05 p.m.

Somebody posted a question on this forum quite a while back, about a early '80's tv show involving a monkey, who got a job in the White House. I did some research, and found out it was called "Mr.Smith". The orangutan who starred in the show was the same monkey who was in the movies: "Any Which Way You Can" with Clint Eastwood, and "Tarzan, the Ape Man" with Bo Derek. Here is a link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085059/  :) Thanks for the memories! Sincerely,Steve.

Speaking of monkey shows, remember BJ & the Bear?  I was into that one briefly when I was a kid because I thought Greg Evigan was cute.  :D
