Subject: Why did YES make 6 videos for "Leave It"'?
I think I remember only seeing 3 and i still love the song, but does anyone recall the reasoning they gave for stylistically changing the video more times than twice?
And a side note for "misheard lyrics" (because I can't seem to find a relevant thread) I was under the impresson that this song was called "Leavin!" until last month when I bought a compilation 70's cd! hahahahahaha

Throughout their career, Yes was always ahead of their time artistically. No other band had done it before, so I suppose that's what they were thinking. The song was out in 1984, so hopefully you didn't get it on a 70s compilation CD, perhaps a typo... ::)

Yes, Stingr22, you are right. My typing was wrong. I actually found Leave It was the correct title when I was searching a lyrics website. It was my faux pas: I was thinking my awareness came from the compilation albums I recently bought, but it didn't happen that way.

"Yes" is one of my top 10 favourite bands. I have hardly seen any of their music videos. I have "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" on my computer and I used to have the video tape "Yes: 9021-Live" until it was "borrowed" >:( I never knew they did more than one version of that song on video. ???

I remember these! I also remember...when MTV had the marathon, & showed all of them back-to-back! I didn't get to see all of them because I had to leave, & go to a Jr. High School dance. That was also before I had a VCR. :-(
I think one version was all of them constantly upside down, & didn't twirl or spin around...or other special effects. Another version was them right-side up, w/no special effects. What did the others look like (except ofcourse the official version)?
