Subject: Forgotten mid 80's sci fi show

It came out in the summer of 1984,I believe. I think its title was "Wishman". Maybe they selected this title to compete with "Starman" a popular movie, which was probably still in the theater, around this time. It was about a young boy who finds an alien creature from another planet, in a forest, and brings him home, as a pet. They covered up his face with a bag,or a box, during the first episode,and did not remove it until the end of the episode. I was nervous and expected him to be hideous. His face turned out to look like a cheap rubber Halloween mask! LOL! Anyway,I have no idea who starred in this show,and what network carried it. I don't think it lasted no more than 2-3 episodes. And despite the similarities,it was NOT "E.T." or "Mac and Me". Does anybody remember this one? ???Thanks for the memories! Sincerely,Steve.

I looked on imdb.com and didn't find anything. But you're description reminds me of the alien in Meatballs (Part 2 I believe.)
But I don't remember a tv show like that. Sorry. :-/
