There is a song that is driving me nuts. I know some of the words and hopefully someone here will know what and who it is. Here are some of the lyrics:

I don't recall the tune myself, but I'll take a stab and say that your "mystery song" is probably "All I Want is You" by Surface, a huge hit on the r&b chart here in the U.S. in the Spring of '91. (It failed to cross over to the pop chart.) It was off the group's 1990 album, 3 Deep. Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print, although it did come out on CD here in the U.S...
