Subject: 80's movies
???
What 80's movie had the song by Huey Lewis and the News, "Do You Believe in Love?"
Many Thanks

I'm almost positive there was one, but I did a google search and can't find it, unless you're thinking of the soundtrack to the (abominable) "Wedding Singer."
Ticket agent: "Hey, you like Flock of Seagulls?"
Robbie: "I can see you do!"

When it comes to Huey, I always for some reason associate that band with only one movie, Back to the Future. Maybe because, he had a song or two in the trilogy. I saw them perform recently on the Jimmy Kimmel Show promoting their latest release on tv.

I wouldn't call it "abominable" either. It was a comedy, not an Oscar nominee. It was an Adam Sandler movie, so it had the same formula, loser meets girl he wouldn't have a chance with in real life, she feels sorry for him and they fall in love. As long as you know that going in, you will have fun! It depicted the 80s very accurately (except Drew Barrymore's hair), and it was fun! It was not meant to be a documentary. I'm not trying to change your mind here, but some of us like that kind of stuff! ;D
As far as the "Flock Of Seagulls" reference, that was hilarious! I like AFOS, but come on, that hair was ridiculous! I'll bet even Mike Score and the boys got a kick out of that one! ;D
