Subject: Can anyone name this group?
Sorry, I just registered tonight and put my question in quizzes, the wrong place. I'm trying to find out the name of a group who came out with a song that I suppose is entitled, "Bed of Lies", that is from the late 80's I think. I don't have all the lyrics but here are some of them: "You're tellin' lies with them big brown eyes, playin' the part of a cheatin' heart. It's a bed of lies we're layin' in tonight, it's a bed of lies, the truth's in your eyes. A bed of lies, bed of lies.......Holdin' my tears as I thought, I'm drinkin' my way back in to your heart. Well I poured two drinks and I turned away. Walked to the kitchen I could her yell, "I'm gonna leave you I'm not your slave, you're gonna get it, just you wait". So I finished my drink and I got back in bed. It's a bed of lies we're layin' in tonight. It's a bed of lies the truth's in your eyes......etc. If you know the group and CD or either please let me know, thanks.

The only Bed of Lies song I could find on Kazaa was by Matchbox 20, but it didn't have any of those lyrics. :-/

Hello Les_Klepper, Could it be Cruzados "Bed Of Lies" from their After Dark cd? ??? They came out with a song with the same name around the late 80's. I have been looking for the lyrics but haven't turned anything up yet. If you go to VH1's website they have some info on the group. I hope this helps. :) Oh,I think they have a few copies of this album at ebay. ;D

Thanks NoDoubt. I believe you are correct. The song "Bed of Lies" is by the Cruzados from "After Dark". It came out in 1987. I searched a long time for lyrics but couldn't find them anywhere. This CD is hard to come by. It is on ebay. Bids start at 40.00. Are you familiar with any of the other songs on "After Dark"? This band was predicted to make it big but they parted after their 2nd album. I think the song "Bed of Lies" is one of the best rock songs I've heard from the late 80's. I taped it off the radio way back in '87 and kept the song but never knew what group did it.

You're very welcome Les_Klepper! ;D I am not too familiar with the rest of their music. I think "Bed Of Lies" is the only song I have heard. I also heard it on the radio but didn't get a chance to record it. But from what I remember of it,it was pretty awesome.;D I was more than happy to help. :D
