It reminds me a bit of 'The Power of Love' by Celine Dion
What does Khoc Trong Dem mean? That appears to be the title of the clip and may give us a clue

it means Cry in the middle of the night!
my friends told me.. the english version is sung by a guy!
thx a lot!

I agree it does sound like Power of Love. Let us know if you find out.

Air Supply did the Power of Love in 1985 I do believe (if it's the right song and your friend said it was a male singing).

I don't think it's the Power of Love. It does sound similar. And very familiar....If it's any help at all, I typed in Khoc Trong Dem into a search engine and it said it was originally done by a Vietnamese singer named Nhat Hao. Haven't found anything else about it yet, but I'll keep looking.

my friends told me it might be one of michael bolton songs...
and that they heard it on the radio a lot during the 80s. the radio still plays it once a while or something, those love radio stations...
this is driving me crazy.. 'cause it sounds very familiar to everyone.. but they just can't seem to remember who sang it! :P
some sentences from the song: we should say goodbye when we know it's not gonna last! but i'd be there whenever u need me......
i still see the passion in ur heart's on fire.... it'd rather be meaningless to go on in life w/out love ..(or something like why live w/out love)
btw, the song sung by Nhat Hao is not Khoc Trong Dem, it's Toi Khoc Trong Dem, a totally different song!
thx a lot guys!

If you want to see if this is the song you remember, just scroll down the page and click on Power of Love (this is Air Supply's version and it is slightly different from Celine Dion's)

Hmmmm....From those lyrics it almost sounds like either "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" or "I Found Someone," both sung at one time by Michael Bolton. (even though Laura Branigan and Cher, respectively, both had versions of those songs.) I don't think that's it though....Just an idea....
