hi all,
I'm trying to find out the songname and artist for a music video I remember from about 82 or 83.
It had a guy walking along a beah in the sunset, lamenting about some woman. It showed shots of her semi-naked (I actually think she was naked, it was the 80's!), and see looked like she was in jail.
the only lyrics I can recall is in the chorus which has the line 'close your eyes'.
can you help?

Well the only raunchy video I can think of that's near what you are describing is "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaac. I don't remember the words "close your eyes" in it though. The girl in the video was pretty hot and naked with some interesting camera shots to not expose her "parts."
Probably not what you're talking about, but there's always that chance...

Nah, in "Wicked Game" they were rolling around on the beach together in Black-and-White.

That almost sounds like something "Honeymoon Suite" did... ???
I was thinking of their song "Wave Babies".

thanks stingr22 but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Chris Isaaks... I'll check out secret squirrels suggestion and see what happens
