Subject: "Cure"/Robert Smith Fans - Jeans Question

This query is placed for one of our new members - 2thesky
Robert Smith (the lead singer/song-writer/guitarist of "The Cure"), wears these jeans that are black and look acid-washed.
I cannot find any information at all on them, but I'm pretty sure they are "Levi's 550's". They were either straight-leg or tapered. There's also a large, black-knitted like long-sleeved sweater that he wears in several pictures I've seen. It cuts down into a "V" and usually wears a white shirt underneath it. I have a great picture if you want to check it out, I can e-mail it to you if it will help. Well, if you could get back to me soon it would really help me out a lot. Thank you for your time. Bye!

They are 550's for sure.
"Friday I'm in Love" was re-released as a car advert soundtrack in the U.K recently.
How excellent was that !
