Subject: Help ID Two Songs.

Need help identifying two songs that played fairly often on Much Music in 1987 and 1988. If I remember correctly, both bands only had one or two hits.
The first song has the lyrics "Everything.. is coming up roses" in it, and I remember there was a scene in the video with roses falling upwards in slow motion. They sorta sound like 54-40 but i'm not sure. I d/l'ed the song off of Kazaa but it's done by a band called "Black". Variations in the search pattern didn't yield any results.
The second song has "i'm standing on the edge" or "i'm standing at the edge" in its lyrics. I can't describe their type of sound other than the lead singer sounds kinda like Jon Anderson of YES. I do remember the video, though. It was filmed around a steam train called the Royal Hudson and it runs out of Vancouver, BC (Canada, eh) 8)
Any ideas.. ???

Was the second one 'Standing on the edge' by Cheap Trick, Secret Squirrel?

Nik Kershaw had a song called 'Roses' which repeats the line "everything's coming up roses."
Don't recall the viddy, if there was one.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Thanks all, I will be searching to see if those are the bands/songs I was looking for. So far no joy on Kazaa.
