Subject: Obscure musical cartoon

I'm trying to find the name of a cartoon, possibly from 1986-1987. The characters were cute little animals, but there was no talking throughout the entire cartoon. It had only cute music and sound effects. I don't remember much of the story line, except a part where one of the characters went to his friends house and they made pancakes; another scene was some of them playing at a playground. I know that isn't much, but I can remember the tune from it very clearly. If this sounds familiar to anyone, please let me know! Thanks :)
