I highly recommend Witness. It's one of Harrison Ford's greatest films.  Great plot, great script, excellent acting.. very good movie

The 80s were totally bitchin! Right?  :D

Hi! I'm new here! :D

Anyway, I think the best 80s movies were:

"Valley Girls" (I happen to have been one if you hadn't noticed! Probably the reason Ilike it so much!)

The three Molly Ringwald movies: (I love Molly Ringwald!)

"Sixteen Candles"
"The Breakfast Club"
       and
 "Pretty in Pink"

"St Elmo's Fire" (Rob Lowe is like such a babe!)  :P

"Say Anything" (I like the part where John Cusack stood outside with the radio! That was soooo sweet!)

"E.T."  (I thought Drew Barrymore was so cute!)  :)

I can't think of any other ones right now.

Well gotta go!

Keep the 80s alive!

Later!  :-*

The Breakfast Club or St. Elmo's Fire
The Breakfast Club, to me, St. Elmo's Fire just seemed overdone and taky.

Friday The 13th or A Nightmare On Elm St
A Nightmare On Elm St.  Just the idea was genius!

Stand By Me or Say Anything
Stand By Me.  I never really got Say Anything

Some Kind Of Wonderful or Pretty In Pink
Some Kind Of Wonderful, at least in this one, the right people ended up together!

Better Off Dead or Back To The Future
Back To The Future.  Gotta love Christopher Lloyd!

The Goonies or The Lost Boys
The Lost Boys.  How many teen movies show guys crying, never mind a vampire?

Fast Times At Ridgemont High or Sixteen Candles
Sixteen Candles, the people in it seemed more belivable, which is weird considering how over the top it was.

Top Gun or Witness (Harrison Ford)
Witness, people actually acted in this movie...though top gun did give us Iceman...

An Officer And A Gentleman or The Big Chill
An Officer And A Gentleman, love Louis Gossett Jr.

Ruthless People Or Down And Out In Beverly Hills
Ruthless People, one the most hillarious movies ever, made all the more memorable by the fact that I had to explaine more than half of it to my mother.

Beverly Hills Cop or Jumpin' Jack Flash
Beverly Hills Cop, one of Eddie Muphy's best movies

E.T. or Dirty Dancing
Dirty Dancing, the first romance movie I ever got into.  Plus, I cant stand E.T.

Friday The 13th or A Nightmare On Elm St ?

Stand By Me or Say Anything
Say Anything. Haven't seen the former.

Some Kind Of Wonderful or Pretty In Pink
Pretty in Pink

Better Off Dead or Back To The Future
Back to the Future. I couldn't really get into the former.

The Goonies or The Lost Boys ?

Fast Times At Ridgemont High or Sixteen Candles
I like both of them equally, can't say which one I like better.

Top Gun or Witness (Harrison Ford)
Top Gun

An Officer And A Gentleman or The Big Chill
An Officer and a Gentleman. Didn't like The Big Chill too much...

Ruthless People Or Down And Out In Beverly Hills ?

Beverly Hills Cop or Jumpin' Jack Flash
Beverly Hills Cop. Love it.

E.T. or Dirty Dancing
Definitely E.T. Been one of my favorites since I was a kid..
