Subject: To Live and Die in L.A. coming to DVD!
I just received the new today from my main movie source, www.digitalbits.com , that the classic 80's action flick, To Live and Die in L.A., is scheduled to be released on DVD on 12/02/03. Is is going to be in widescreen with many extras included. I know that myself and many of you all have been waiting years for this title to finally come out on DVD, and the wait is nearly over!

FREAKIN' GREAT NEWS!!!
I signed up with Amazon.com last year to be notified when it was coming out on DVD but never heard from them. Thanks so much for this post. I just called one of my best friends and left her a voice mail message.
To Live and Die in L.A. is one of my favorite movies and soundtracks. I love listening to it while on road trips! I’m so freakin’ excited. I feel like a little kid in a candy store. I’ve been telling people about how good this movie is for years and even more often since CSI came out. Unfortunately it hasn’t been available on VHS forever and my copy fried a long time ago!
I know what I’m getting myself for Giftmas this year!

LDILA - Movie and soundtrack were great. Do you know anything about Body Double? also had some of the same INXS music.

Great flick, I looked for it last year so my wife could catch it. It has a young William Peterson (Gus in CSI) as a hot shot cop. It was also the 2nd movie I saw William Dafoe in. I look forward to popping it into my DVD player.

I remember liking Body Double because it was so weird, but I haven't seen it in years. As far as music from the film goes I can only remember Frankie Goes to Hollywood doing Relax during one weird sequece.
I don't know about INXS in Body Double, but all the music in To Live And Die in L.A. was done by Wang Chung.
Thanks for reminding me about Body Double I'll have to go rent it. It'll be a trip!

You're rite, Zed, Wang Chung, remember Dance Hall Days, thought it was in both flicks. My fave actor of all time, the hero in Body Double, Craig Wasson, reminded me of my Dad.

As it turns out Dance Hall Days wasn't used in To Live and Die in L.A. and I'm kind of glad it wasn't included. It just wouldn't have fit the mood of the movie. I don't remember Body Double enough to recall it being in that movie.
I remember seeing Craig Wasson in something else but I can't remember what it was! That's so frustrating....

Yeeah! :D

I thought Dance Hall Days was in that seen when Dafoe was picked up his spooky girlfriend where she danced (among other things) with the Asian chick. Guess we'll see on DVD!

I'm so glad that To Live and Die in L.A. is finally out on DVD! I finally picked up a copy and while watching heard the song Dance Hall Days and remembered this thread!
Well I was definitely wrong on this one! :o Since it wasn't included on the soundtrack I guess I just figured it wasn't used in the movie!
I think I'll go home tonight and watch it again!

You would definitely remember Body Double if you saw it. Probably the biggest film Craig Wasson did was Nightmare on Elm St. Part 3: Dream Warriors.

If you are a Craig Wasson fan,see Go Tell The Spartans, where a young Wasson co-starred with Burt Lancaster in this Vietnam war flict - excellent.
