Subject: What were these shoes called?
Written By: mackcooks on 08/26/03 at 09:46 p.m.
The girls in school used to wear a type of shoe that I hope someone knows about. They were an ankle bootie. They came up just above the ankle in the front and then swept down a little in the back (a little above the heel). They had a rounded toe and the laces went almost all the way down to the toe. They had no heel and came in every color possible. They were leather, I think. If you know what ankle high climbing shoes look like, they are similar. They were popular around '85-'88. If you know what they were called or know where I can find a pair please e-mail me at mackcooks@aol.com. (yes, I'm always checking ebay!)
