In the mid 80's, I have a vague recollection of watching a rather bizarre American kids TV show.
It was actual actors, not a cartoon, and was about a little, dark-haired (?) girl living at home with her parents.
The strange bit was she was actually supposed to be a robot child or something, but living with and brought up by a real human family.
Im also remember that if the little girl asked her mother for something and the answer was no, she wouldn't just say "no", but would say "no, no ,no, no, no ,no" in a sing-song type of way.
Can anyone help, it's been bugging me for years!

I'd forgotten all about this programme til I read this.
I can't say I ever made a point of watching it but there must have been times there was nothing on the other side because I seem to recognise alot of the episodes!

Small Wonder!!!  Yes, I watched this show when I was a kid.  She was a robot that was created by the father.  Her name was Vicki.  Her *brother's* name was Jaime.  She wore a red dress with a white pinafore and had brown hair.

This show may or may not have been popular with kids.  When it came out I was old enough to find the whole kind of creepy and very poorly acted.  
Though considering what the role was, I guess the little girl did a good job.  Not many kids can come across that flat that consistantly.

As a young child, I loved this show...unfortunately my family (pops) didn't share my opinion. Basically he hated anything related in any way to robots, which was hard considering I was growing up in Japan at the time.

Does anyone remember the TV show about the computer programmer who died on the way to work...so they somehow uploaded his essence into what we would today call a "smart home" ? I recall one episode when his (ex)wife didn't want to get up for work, so he would push her into the shower by moving the towel rack...and then turned the water onto her.

Another he was jealous of the guy she was beginning to date, so he sabotaged the date.

Strange? yes...but interesting.

I loved watching that show and that Tiffany Brissette worked as a funny robot.
