The same with the remakes of "Ren & Stimpy", "Ninja Turtles", "He-Man & The Masters of the Universe", "American Dreams" (a.k.a. "The Wonder Years"), "Fastlane" (a.k.a. "Miami Vice"), etc. AWFUL!!!
Though I'm too young to remember the orginal, but network execs should leave classic shows alone.
The same goes for movie execs.
(Except for "The Fugitive", "Charlie's Angels", and "Mission: Impossible")

And they had the nerve to turn Soul Train into some rap garbage program for teens. >:( :P

Havent seen the new one and don't intend to.
Though I have to admit, my family and I (okay my Mom and I)used to watch the original all the time. That and Solid Gold. My Dad thought we were nuts. :D
