What song(s) would you rate as being difficult to sing at a karoake bar?
I'll start off with R.E.M.'s "It's The End Of The World As We Know It"
Subject: Re: Say what???
Billy Joel "We Didn't Start The Fire"
Icicle Works "Birds Fly (Whisper To A Scream)"
Falco "Rock Me Amadeus"
Subject: Re: Say what???
That would be any song. The amount of beer it takes me to get up on stage and make an a$$ out of myself is, coincidentally, the same amount it takes for my mouth to disengage and babble incoherently. ;D

"Walk This Way" by Aerosmith, although I've actually sung it several times. Someone sprung it on me as a surprise once, but I actually knew it so the gag backfired. I've yet to hear anyone else do it though. :)

I have had difficulty singing this song, but mostly because the words on the screen are wrong for the most part, and I have to shut my eyes to sing it to visualise the right words in my head. Only problem is I haven't seen the proper lyrics for the song in a while, and I need to re-familiarise myself with them. But I do know them pretty well. :D
I don't really have any major difficulty singing a lot of the songs I do sing at karaoke (which are mostly 80's songs), but I will say that a difficult song for me to sing was "Ça Plane Pour Moi" by Plastic Bertrand. I've only done it once, and my French isn't as good as it used to be, n'est-ce pas? :D Oh! And "Wuthering Heights" by Kate Bush is another because it's an extremely high song, and it's a bit of a struggle to get my voice up there after being used to doing lower songs for quite a while. But maybe now that I've quit smoking, I'll eventually be able to do it again without much of a problem. :)

Here are a couple more additions:
"How Soon Is Now?" by The Smiths (the verses are way too low for me, but the rest of it is fine)
"Smalltown Boy" by Bronski Beat (yet another high one, but again, since I've quit smoking...)

That's not so bad. Ever tried "My Little Yellow Bird"? That takes it outta your lungs unless you can circular breathe like I can. When I recorded it onto CD all you can hear is:
"Blue blue sky
I search it every day
Blue blue sky
I look for her but she has gone away"
(Where they hold for nobbut 25 seconds, I hold for a minute and a half)

That's a good one to start with and R.E.M. is notorious for these types of tunes.
Here's another one of the most difficult tunes to sing at a karoake bar:
REM - What's The Frequency Kenneth
