Subject: Woh oh oh oh oh....china girl
I've got that song stuck in my head. I guess it's because I woke up to it this morning, which isn't a bad thing since I personally think it's a cool song.
Just wanted to share with you all.

Co-written by David Bowie and Iggy Pop, and originally performed by Iggy Pop. But his version is a lot different from Bowie's. It's slower I think.
"China Girl" was not bad, but David Bowie had better songs, and better albums too. I remember getting Let's Dance when I was around 13 for my birthday and I was thrilled to bits. :) Now, I can't think of a single song I really like off of it now. I prefer his older stuff these days (70's-1980).

Hitting an all-time low

I've always liked that song, although I know a few people who don't. :-/ I like Bowie's voice and the music...I don't really pay much attention to the lyrics! ;D

Oh! China Girl is a gr8 tune! I got it as my ringtone actually... (moment to reflect on unnecessary enthusiasm). Although maybe it's my age but I love The Labyrinth Soundtrack. Wasn't that one of the coolest kids fantasy films?

I saw the "Serious Moonlight" tour he did when "Let's Dance" was released in the early 80's --- Excellent show.

Actually, i'm one of those few people who didn't like "China Girl". I did like "Fashion" and "Blue Jean" .. but that's just me. 8)

Other than China Girl and Ashes to Ashes, I don't think Bowie had anything else good in the 80's. ::)
