Remember when MTV was cool. Non-stop videos, Friday night video fights, Saturday night concerts, cool VJ's. Man,
I miss those days. NO REALITY SHOWS!!!
MTV really is horrible now. I feel sorry for todays youth and the "crap" it has to endure on the once proud and exciting network.

Precisely why I downloaded 15 c.d.'s worth of my favorite 80's videos. M.T.V. flat out sucks. Rap, So called reality shows. Enough already.

"MTV" now stands for "Moronic Television". :P Since 1994.
(It was Mediocre TV 'til 1997 When they actually stopped playing videos & canned "Beavis & Butt Head" & "The State")
Not all rap is bad. Old school hip hop had it's moments.
('80's to early '90's.)
It's just that MTV overplays rap "videos" (in 4:00 A.M.) in an hour.
Whatever happened to variety?
Good thing for VH1 CLASSIC. :D
And why I collect music video compilations on video/DVD.

Yep! And so does Much Music (a Canadian version of MTV). What is the point of calling it a music channel when they don't play any music except for a couple of hours of that rap/hip hop?

I got a question for all you MTV haters including myself, when was the last time you remember watching an entire music video on that channel?
Mine would be U2's "One" in 1992. And yes MTV's Yo! MTV Raps was pure crap.

I have never watched MTV even though I have SKY telly. I understood straight away that the channel was never going to play the music I wanted to listen to. :-/
