Subject: Barney Miller
Might I just say that this is with out a doubt one of the funniest shows ever...but I dont think that enough people know about it...what does everybody else think?
Subject: Re: Barney Miller
I liked this show, with Mojo and the Japanese guy who made bad coffee. Also the old guy, who played Tess in the G-Father was great. Who were all these guys, do you remember their names?
Subject: Re: Barney Miller
You know I had completely forgotten about this show but now you mention it, I do remember enjoying it.
I thought the guy's name was "Wojo" not "Mojo" or is my memory playing tricks on me?

The funniest episode had to be when someone brought in Alice B. Toklas brownies. Nick (played by Jack Soo) was hystarical. "Barney. And your mother's from Miscarney." "Mushy, mushy." The look on Hal Linden's face showed that he was trying very hard not to crack up.

Barney Miller was a great show.
Wojo-howitz was the one who could never pass the test to get promoted.
Fish was the old dude who went on to have his spinoff show "Fish"
Ron Glass was the black dude with the big fro who was writing a book "Blood on the Badge".
Jack Soo was the Japanese guy who dies while the show was still on the air
Dietrich was the nerdy, but funny guy
Thank God for TV Land

"WKRP" Now there was an incredibly funny show! I still get a laugh when I watch the reruns. :)
It's funny to think how much of an impression that show made when today, 20 years later, you can mention the line below and people's eyes will light up and know EXACTLY what you are talking about. :D
"As god as my witness.... I thought turkeys could fly"
