This doesn't surprise me. He was arrested a while back for gun offences.
What did surprise me, if anybody knew him, was that clean-cut Shakin' Stevens was arrested for drink-driving offences a few months back! :D

The poor guy really does seem to have a lot of problems I hope they can help him,sadly follow up care in the U.K for people with mental health problems is not as good as it should be.
As to Shakey it was one of those 'open' showbiz secrets that he had a serious drink problem part of the reason he disappeared I guess.I've seen footage of him trying to perform a song on a T.V show completely of his face and falling all over the place !

he reminded me of the vocalist of Bad Manners (remember that song "my girl lollypop?"), it's had to believe that's really him.
Apart from looks.. I don't believe he is seeking for attention, he really sounds very ill considering the stuff he's been doing lately :'(

Adam's a really sad case. Back in the '80s he was the last person you'd have expected to suffer with the passing of the years. Unlike so many other pop stars he "don't drink, don't smoke" (as least, he didn't then - not sure about now). He was very much into healthy, drug-free living. He was good looking, slim, rich, adored by millions. And yet, how things went so badly wrong!
The last time I met Adam was in 1983. When I see pictures of him now, it's hard to believe he's the same person. I really hope he gets better. I liked Adam. One of the nicer stars of the period...
