Subject: Who remembers the kid's show 'Knightmare'?

Written By: Bobby on 06/11/03 at 10:39 a.m.

Hello.

I remember when I was about 7 or 8 and I turned on to Children's ITV and Knightmare was on!

It was state of the art at the time and used a virtual reality setting based in a dungeon.

I would like to hear from anybody that remembers this!

I know it's on Challenge TV at the moment.

Hi Gis!

I just watched some tonight on Challenge!

I don't think the girls tonight knew their directions. They kept saying 'turn around until we say stop'. Ha! Ha!  ;D

I remember it as if it was yesterday. It was on on a Friday, at 4:40, after Victor and Hugo on CiTV, back when that show was half decent. Now it's just filled with soap operas and Mopatop's Shop... heh heh.

Yeah, I remember it well, it was based in a three-level VR dungeon. I only remember one team ever getting all the way to the end, though. It was a great show... I can still remember getting creeped out by that egg timer at the end...

Edit: I'm pretty sure it finished in 1994, when I was eight.

Well done Bobo!

I'm so impressed. Not only did you get the time right, you knew that 'Victor and Hugo - Partners in Crime' were on before it!  :D

The main thing I remember about that cartoon was there was this running gag about a dog that went up Victor's trouser leg and down the other with his pants!

Smart stuff. Thanks!

Altogether now...

"Hugo And Victor! Well, that's what I say anyway"

Edit: By the time I started watching it, it had dropped the subtitle, Partners In Crime... I'm sure.
Ahh, memories.

I hate to say this (due to the fact I'm only in my early twenties) is that 'they don't make them like that anymore'.

That is true. And shows like Knightmare prove it!
