Subject: Tiger Beat, BOP magazine
Do any of you folks remember reading these pop magazines? I can remember being 10, riding my bike to the local safeway so that I could scan the latest Bop magazine for anything remotely about the Bangles. I was so in love with them!!!

Think the Bangles used to be called "The Bangs". Please tell Sussana Hoffs I'm an SWM who wants to take her out. Heppa!

I was a big fan of Tiger Beat, BOP & 16, back in the late 70's/early 80's. And yes, my bedroom walls were plastered with whoever my "hunk of month" was at the time. Stars such as, Leif Garrett, David Soul, Peter Frampton, Danny....(the one that used to host that Dance show), Sean Cassidy, John Schneider, Ralph Macchio, Billy Idol...etc. :-*

I used to save my allowance to buy the latest issues. I had so many of them, my mom forced me to either cut out what I wanted or she was going to pitch them herself...I was heartbroken, as some are now fetching some money...oh well.
My brother used to use Donny Osmond pictures for target practice...with his BB-Gun. Mean boy!

I remember them, but I never bought them! They were for the love-sick teenaged girls! :) I was into Star Hits and Rolling Stone back then! :)

I read Hit Parader and Circus. If I didn't have the money, I'd shoplift them from the Circle K just to tear out the Lita Ford pinups.
