ok people, u have to help me. I am going to an 80's party tomorrow and i have no idea what to wear. I know they wore jeans with slashes in them, but what types of tops did they wear?
Did they wear hotpants in the 80's?

a sweatshirt with the collar cut out and a tank top shirt underneath so you can hang one side of the sweatshirt off your shoulder was very popular and a belt with lots of metal studs around your waist over the sweatshirt

I suppose it depends where you are to what the fashion was...we all wore flying suits (cringe)....or leg warmers (double cringe)....or if you want to go for the triple cringe get hold of a Lady Di blouse...and yes we thought we looked good
