Subject: Your favorite 80s hang out spot.
Where was the place you and your friends would hang out?For me it was the basketball court which was next to the creek so when we werent playing hoops we would be fishing or throwing junk in the creek.

Mid 80's we would hang out at the local surf/skate shop....late 80's we would hang out in downtown D.C. causing havoc on Capitol Hill with our punk-rock garb & bad attitudes! :D

My friends & I would hang out at the following places on the weekend nights:
Metrocenter Mall/Golf 'N Stuff in Phoenix (Metrocenter used to be one of the prime spots to cruise - then they banned it there, so...)
Central Avenue (another cruise mecca - everyone with motorcycles hung out at the BK on Central & Thomas)
Sgt. Pepper's Video Dance Club in Tempe
Devil House (now Club Rio) in Tempe (near ASU)
Carl's Jr @ Cave Creek & Bell (to find out where the parties were)
The desert in N. Phoenix (where the parties usually were)

We either went to Red Baron restaurant or J&D's for coffee. Small town with not much to do. :-/

Next to the bowling alley there was a huge arcade named Dave's and had pizza as well as pool tables. Very cool hangout!

Midas- Right on dude.
There were three places I always used to hang out:
1. The Circle K by my house to play video games
2. Fiesta Mall for chicks
3. Vans California Daze for skateboarding and acting cool

I grew up in a fairly small bedroom community. About the only entertainment in town for us teenagers was the roller rink. It was a lot of fun since everyone hung out there. They also had a good size arcade when they were all the rage.
I also have fond memories since that was the place where I first kissed a girl.
