Okay guys, this is a weird one.  I was wondering if you could think back and tell me your favorite songs of each school year starting in 6th grade....

6th - Push It - Salt and Peppa/ Naughty Girls Need Love Too - Samantha Foxx
7th - Like a Prayer - Madonna / Pour Some Sugar on Me - Def Leppard
8th - Batdance - Prince
9th - I wish it would rain down - Phil Collins
10th - Policy of Truth - Depeche Mode
11th - Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
12th - Jump Around - House of Pain

Okay, so am I the only boy who liked Like a Prayer in 7th grade?  Yes I am straight by the way :).

This should be interesting...

I can't even remember what I ate for dinner last night, much less what my favorite song was in the 7th grade!  :-/

This is a good question.  I couldn't necessarily think of my favorites, so I just chose songs I strongly associate with those grades:

6th (84-85) Anything from Prince's "Purple Rain" album.
7th (85-86)  Bon Jovi "You Give Love A Bad Name"
8th (86-87)  Beastie Boys "Fight For Your Right To Party"
9th (87-88)  George Harrison "Got My Mind Set On You"
10th (88-89) Warrant "Down Boys"
11th (89-90)  Faith No More "Epic"
12th (90-91)  Enigma "Sadness"

6th (85-86)- "Take on me" - Ah-Ha
7th (86-87)- "Don't get me wrong" - The Pretenders
8th (87-88)- "Mr. Brownstone" - Guns N Roses
9th (88-89)- "Ragdoll" - Aerosmith  :)
10th (89-90)- "Eighteen and Life" - Skid Row  :D
11th (90-91)- "How I could just kill a man" - Cypress Hill
12th (91-92)- "Even in his youth" - Nivarna (as pronounced by Bevis and butthead  ;D )

I was into other stuff, listened to a lot of classic rock from during the highschool years, but narrowed it down on my list to the stuff that was out in that particular slice of time. This exercise really opened a flood-gate of memories as well! Good topic.
