Subject: i need help naming a song, along with band

Written By: Ian Webster on 04/15/03 at 06:21 p.m.

Hey all, I need some of you 80's music gurus to help me. Or maybe 90's music, I don't know. There was a song I heard today at work, on the no-commercial radio station. It had more of a bongo-type beat to it, not a drumming beat. In the chorus, the guy says things like "cross my heart" and "i want you to be my baby". Then repeats the chorus and says "cross my heart", whatever, "i want you to be my lady." Help me if you can.
