Subject: History of the World Part I
Any fans out there? To me, this has to be one of the funniest movies ever made. I could watch it over and over and still laugh. I find myself quoting lines from it, too.

I thought it was funny! :D LMAO The Spanish Inquisition part, towards the end there, slowed down. A memorable movie, nontheless. Hey, whatever happened to a part II?

That movie is hysterical! I loved the whole Roman scene. ;D

Ah, another one of my favs. This ranks up there with "The Gods Must Be Crazy" movies as well. :D

Great movie. It's been awhile since I've seen it though.

It's been a long time since i've seen that one. Mel Brooks had some pretty good movies. I can remember the commercials for that movie... "Hitler on Ice" (or was that the 2nd movie?); the guy walking thru the roman crowd with a ghetto blaster on his shoulder cranking out "Funky Town"; and Moses coming down from the mountain, "God has given us 15 .. whoops! <smash!> uh... TEN commandments..." :D

One of the best parts is when Madeline Khan (no clue how to spell her name at the moment) is going down the line of men:
No, no, no, yes, no, no, no, yes, no, no, YESSSSSSSSS, no...and another part that stands out for me is the Last Supper part, where he says "JC!" (didnt spell it out in case anyone would be offended, but that just cracks me up!)

Another favorite line:
You take the left flank, I'll take the right flank, and the others shall run with mucous!
BTW, for anyone who doesnt know, it is out on DVD now. Not sure if it has many special features (behind the scenes, etc) or not.

I just created an account so I could reply to this message
I have a funny story about that movie, I just recently saw it myself. I heard at one point, one of my classmates had decided he would coax our highschool teacher to show the aforementioned movie. Well, she did, and right as the line of men scene came up, in true "Murphy's Law" fashion, our school director walks in. I believe he was showing around some trustees or perhaps prospective parents, but anyway, it wasn't pretty. I would have loved to have seen the look on my director's face, he was much older, and extremely conservative. Mwaaah hahh haaa, good times!

This ranks up there with Spaceballs, in my book. ;D One of the funniest movies of all time!
I like when they're riding on the chariot with the mega j! I didn't quite understand it at the time, but it cracks me up now.
